120min custom massage, beginning with an in-depth consultation to discuss your body's specific needs and goals for the session. Following the consultation, you will receive 120 minutes of hands-on treatment, focusing on one, two, or three areas of concern that will including whole body as well. Meet Yovonka C. Rivera
From a Therapist Who Puts You First
I am Yovonka C. Rivera, founder and owner of Massage by Yovonka here in Tucson, Az. With over 15 years of experience and training across a variety of massage techniques. I'm here to help you feel your best. My goal is simple: to partner with you on your wellness journey, providing therapeutic massage that targets your unique needs. Whether it's for recovery, relaxation. or relief, my focus is always on your total health. When you leave a session, I want you feeling revitalized, ready to get back to doing what you love, and fully supported in your well-being.
My Journey as a Licensed Massage Therapist
I've been practicing massage since December 2008, starting my career with an amazing Canadian company in Sahuarita, Az, where I worked until 2011. From there, I explored new opportunities, joining a day spa in the Rita Ranch/Vail area, where I provided massage therapy until 2022. Opening my own practice has been a dream of mine since massage school, and in 2022, that dream became a reality with the founding of Massage by Yovonka.
With over 15 years as an active therapist, I'm committed to staying updated on the latest trends and techniques in the massage industry. I attend continuing education classes two to three times a year through the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Arizona chapter, and I participate in the National Massage Conference with AMTA to ensure I'm bringing my clients the very best in therapeutic care.
Since 2009, I've also had the privilege of volunteering with the AMTA Arizona Chapter, serving in multiple roles over the years. Currently, I'm honored to serve as the elected President of the chapter, where I work alongside dedicated professionals to advance our field.
